Here at Genesis Financial Solutions, we strive to make a difference through volunteering and giving back to the community especially in times of need. 

Our Site Leadership Council finds ways to partner with local organizations where our local offices engage in different community initiatives such as serving weekly meals and raising money for local charities. GFS has once again stepped up to the plate during the COVID-19 pandemic to support our local community food banks. Most recently, GFS donated a total of $38,000 in July: $22,000 to the Akron Food Bank and $16,000 to the Oregon Food Bank.

With the economic impact of the pandemic, supporting our neighbors is more important than ever before. The Akron Food Bank typically provides food to an average of 400 families once a month. However, due to the pandemic impact, they are now providing food on a weekly basis to over 1500+ families in need. The Oregon Food Bank in Portland distributes food to more than 21 food banks and 1,200 food assistance sites in the area. The GFS $16,000 donation went to the Washington County division to provide aid directly to our Beaverton community, where our corporate office resides.

GFS will continue to be focused on helping our communities and doing our part to help those in need. Much appreciation to all of our coworkers who helped in donating to these worthy organizations.
