Due to generous contributions from Akron employees through their Customer Service snack shack and other means, Genesis was able to be one of the largest contributors of donations ever received at Blossom Gardens children’s home in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Five shopping carts full of practical items as well as toys were donated.
Located near Teleperformance, Montego Bay operations, Blossom Gardens provides a nursery, learning center, classroom and recreational space, as well as a sick bay for infants, toddlers, and young children up to eight years old.
According to Outsourcing Manager Sarah Loerch, multiple leaders at the Teleperformance site reached out to thank their colleagues in Akron. “We are their first client to go out in their community and help those in need,” said Loerch. “I can’t begin to express the difference it makes to those children and those who take care of them.”
CEO for Teleperformance ARM, Tim Casey, also acknowledged the generosity of the Akron team during a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony in Montego Bay.
